Curatorial Spotlight. American Landscape: The Great Depression & American Automobile Companies

Join us on Sunday, August 8, 2021 for the second of a three-part series looking at how the automobile transformed the American landscape. In the second part, we will focus on the impact the Great Depression had on the American automobile industry. Our professional museum staff will deliver a presentation and be on hand to answer all your questions regarding the subject. When the Great Depression hit America, countless fortunes were lost and thousands of businesses were forced to close their doors. The American automobile industry suffered its share of losses as well, and those that survived were forced to reorganize and rethink their business strategy.

This presentation is free to all members of the public with a regular museum admission and will take place in the Education Center at the Museum. For more information please contact the museum by phone at (260) 925-1444 or email at info@automobiemuseum.org.
