If These Cars Could Talk: 1932 Studebaker President

Join us for an in-depth look at the many automobiles in our collection and discover their part in our history. If These Cars Could Talk is a monthly program offered by museum staff for free to the public on the first Saturday of each month.

The Studebaker President Eight was in production from 1927 - 1942 and represents Studebaker’s highpoint as a builder of motorcars. The President bodies have a timeless symmetry and cleanliness of lines, with a color band at the beltline and crowned and beaded fenders. The President was an inexpensive competitor to the Auburns and Cords of the time and is recognized as a full Classic by the Classic Car Club of America. The 1932 Four Seasons Roadster is a very rare model with only nine known examples surviving.

This presentation will be held in the museum galleries next to the car from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 and is offered to all patrons for free with museum admission. For more information, including the specific location of the presentation, please call ahead at 260-925-1444 or see an associate at the admission desk.
