Time: 9 to 3 p.m.

Location: Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum

Join us for a unique art experience as you learn how to draw automobiles from a real automobile designer!

Brian Baker, current Director of Collections and Education at the National Corvette Museum, will be leading a lesson on how to draw automobiles like the designers do! Brian’s 25-year career in design at General Motors yielded automotive design awards in Europe and North America for his Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Buick concept vehicles. He received the Chairman’s Honors Award, GM’s highest recognition, for his contribution to the 15-year vision for Cadillac. Following his retirement from GM, he became vice president of design for American Specialty Cars (ASC). As an automotive designer, Brian has created dozens of production and concept vehicles (Chevy SSR, 1999 GTO). He has designed human-powered vehicles, aircraft interiors, future Indy racers, luxury motor coaches, and mobile exhibits.

Program registrants will be supplied with professional art materials to learn techniques for bringing their car designs to life. Bring your own bag lunch. Spaces are limited so sign up today!
