Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum holds Volunteer Recruitment Fair

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum will be holding a Volunteer Recruitment Fair on Thursday, May 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Entry to the Fair is free.

Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself in the history of Auburns, Cords, Duesenbergs, the history of Auburn Automobile Company or just learn more about automotive history in general?  Do you have a green thumb, mad computer skills, or love meeting and talking to new people?  Or do you just have some extra time and you’re looking for something positive to do with it?  Then the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum wants you!  The Volunteer Recruitment Fair will be hosted by the museum’s own Volunteer Association who will be there to answer questions about all the things they do and help you get involved.

In addition to handling some of the museum’s daily operations, volunteers assist with seasonal duties, such as gardening, and special events, like the annual Bridal Show and activities that take place at the museum during the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival.  The perks of being a volunteer include receiving monthly newsletters, invitations to social functions like monthly meetings and a holiday potluck dinner, making friends and meeting visitors from all over the world, going on an annual field trip and having the rewarding feeling of being a part of an organization that preserves local history for future generations.

If you’d like to be a part of the team that is a lifeline for our world famous museum, stop in to our Volunteer Recruitment Fair and see what we’re all about!
