Car Side Presentation
The Imperial line was Chrysler’s high-end automobile in 1933. The custom-line, “CL,” was their most expensive car of which the roadster body style cost $3,295. Only 155 Imperials were produced in 1933, of which nine were roadsters.
The 1933 Chrysler CL Imperial Roadster is powered by a 384 cubic-inch straight-eight engine which produces 135 horsepower. It was donated to the museum from the Guy E. Beatty Jr. Private Collection.
