Come and learn about an automobile with a legendary history!

The November 2019 Car of the Month is the 1922 Haynes. It was donated to the museum by Frank Kleptz of Terre Haute, Indiana. Elwood Haynes is credited as being the first person to design a mass-produced automobile. By 1898, paired with Elmer and Edgar Apperson, automobiles were being churned out of their Kokomo, Indiana factory. Haynes continued with his own line of automobiles. This Haynes was once owned by Elwood Haynes himself.
